A regular Rubik's cube is 2¼ inches on each side. The cube is comprised of the 26 mini cubes. The center tile on each of the six faces is a single square attached to the core of a Rubik’s cube. These provide a guide for the other pieces. If you want to explore the cube, it can be easily be taken apart by turning one side to a 45° angle and prying an edge cube until it pops out.
